Party Weekend in Wellingborough

The streets of Wellingborough will be transformed into a riot of colour, music and dance when the Carnival comes to town on Saturday 6th July.

With not long to go, final preparations are being made for the spectacular parade which will be followed by a huge day of live music.

The council’s annual party weekend kicks off this year with Wellingborough Carnival Association's parade, as schools, businesses, pubs, community groups and more dress up to bring carnival celebrations to Wellingborough.

The fun continues into Sunday 7th July with live music from 12 noon to 6pm, again at Croyland Park. Local performers and tribute bands will be taking to the stage to entertain the crowds.

As well as the music, the park will feature Steven's fun fair, food stands and a licensed bar.

Wellingborough Carnival is run by a committee of volunteers, and Party in the Park is run by Wellingborough council. For any further information on the weekend contact events@wellingborough.gov.uk.
