Published Thursday, 14 November 2019

Residents are invited to join the cast of The Castle Theatre’s ‘Aladdin’ and the Borough Council of Wellingborough for this year’s Christmas light switch-on event.

Atomic Kitten's Natasha Hamilton, along with other cast members of Castle Theatre's Aladdin, will be taking to the stage on Saturday 23 November between 2.30pm and 5.30pm to treat the crowd to a taste of the festive fun on offer at the venue's 2019 pantomime which runs from 14 - 31 December.

Performances will take place from 2.30pm, and Gary L Johnson will be hosting the event and will be joined by performers from the GLJ theatre school at Glamis Hall. New Harmony, a local pop duo, will be delivering a whole-host of classic pop hits too.

Julia Wells, Events Officer at the Borough Council of Wellingborough, said:
“We are delighted that a number of fantastic local organisations and the talented cast of Aladdin will be joining us for this year’s Christmas light switch on.

“I would encourage everyone to come along and help us celebrate the start of the festive season at this event; it is guaranteed to be a lot of fun for all the family.”
