Local Historian, Author and Borough Councillor Jon-Paul Carr will provide an illustrative and informative talk on the development and history of the town of Wellingborough.

He will look at the area from the early settlers, through the Medieval and Civil War periods, to the towns development during the Victorian era, its Edwardian heyday, the effects of both the First World War and the Second World War on the town, and changes which have happened in the later part of the 20th Century into the 21st Century.

To be held in the Council Chamber, Council Offices, Swanspool House, Wellingborough, Northants, NN8 1BP on Thursday 3rd March 2016

Two sessions will be held:

2:30 pm – 4:30 pm

7:30 pm – 9:30 pm

Tickets £7.50 and £5.00 (OAPs and children)
