Supplementary Planning Guidance - Documents & Informal Guidance
Planning guidance provides further explanation of specific planning policies. The guidance may be focused on the development of a specific site, the town centre or a particular issue, such as sustainable design or planning contributions.
Supplementary Planning Guidance (SPG) documents were produced prior to 2004. Together with informal guidance, they will gradually be replaced by Supplementary Planning Documents (SPD) if and when appropriate.
