GVD 1 - General Vesting Declaration

A General Vesting Declaration was made by the council on 5 June 2009 in order to enable certain plots within the Compulsory Purchase Order required by the Council for the purpose of regenerating part of the High Street Site.  Title, together with the right to possession of the land concerned will pass to the council on the vesting date (this is approximately 4 weeks after the declaration was made.  This date will be confirmed shortly).  The General Vesting Deceleration relates to these parcels (tabled below) required by the Council at an early stage and it is anticipated that declarations to secure other sites will be made in the future.
