Performance management is about the management of people, resources and capacity in order to achieve the Council's objectives and priorities. By doing this we ensure that outcomes for our local community, service users, Tax payers and the public are continually being reviewed and improving.
By managing our performance we:
- Identify declining performance early and take the necessary actions to improve
- Learn form past performance and use this as a driver for future success
- Ensure the necessary resources are allocated to the achievement of our priorities
- Celebrate success to manage and motivate our staff
