Let us know your views ...

The Council is committed to engaging in effective community consultation. Listening to the views and opinions of residents and using these to help to shape our policies and plans.

This consultation facility enables the Council to set out any policies or plans on which we would value your input, as well as enabling you to be involved in and comment on matters that affect or interest you. The register will help you to know what's going on, how you can be involved and what the results were of previous consultations.

We hope it will be useful and informative to a wide range of our residents and others and that it will allow you to take an active part in improvements that the Council is either leading or participating in.

Please come back and view the register regularly to:

  • View the details of consultations past, present and future
  • Take part in more opportunities to have your say
  • See the results of consultations.

It required local authorities to publish a review of homelessness in their area and a strategy for the future, outlining how the council and its partners will work to prevent homelessness and ensure accommodation and support for those who are homeless or at risk of homelessness. The document is now online for consultation.
