Our waste collection teams are out as normal this morning and will try and collect bins where possible. This update lets you know what to do if we can't get to you because of the snow.
Although the main roads are clear, many of the side streets are covered in snow and our teams may have problems with access. We need to consider the safety of our team, the public, our vehicles and other road users.
If you are expecting your bin to be collected today and we are unable to empty it, please put your bin out again by 7am on Tuesday. We will aim to complete the collection rounds on Tuesday and Wednesday next week.
Bulky household waste collections are also being made today where possible. If you have a collection booked for today and we are unable to get to you, we will contact you to rearrange a collection date.
