Councillor Graham Lawman, chairman of the council's development committee said: "We have lots of independent shops in Wellingborough, which is what makes our town distinct and unique. Independent retailers face a challenging time and don't have much back up, but there are plenty of things they can do to survive and prosper. This event, as well as being part of the commitment we made to them during the recent Sheep Street/Silver Street work, is an opportunity for them to gain some sales and marketing tips and tricks and to learn how to maximise the things that make them special - a wide range of products, great customer service and expertise."
The session will be packed full of practical examples and information, delivered in easy-to-understand bite-sized chunks. It is completely free of charge and includes a light buffet. Places are limited, so retailers are advised to book early to secure a place. To book a place call 0845 058 6644 or email info@businesslinkem.co.uk.
