Councillors clean up the streets
Published Wednesday 23rd June 10
Castle ward councillors will be clearing away rubbish and vegetation in an effort to clean up the alleyway at Alexandra Rd/Albert Rd in Wellingborough.
The three councillors, Cllr Maureen Shram, Cllr Shashi Dholakia and Cllr Paul Crofts, will be helped by the probation service as they remove the mess at the flytipping hotspot. The councillors are using part of the ward support funding - a sum of money for councillors to use to benefit the communities in their ward - for this project.
The clean up will begin at 9.30am on Monday 28 June
at the Alexandra Rd/Albert Rd alleyway.
