Waendel Walk entertainment

The Waendel Walk returns next weekend, and brings with it a huge amount of free entertainment. The events all take place over the weekend of 7-9 May.

The Castle outside stage will host free entertainment all weekend:

 

Friday 7 May
5pm-6pm - jazz warm up for the Friendship Walk

Saturday 8 May
1pm - Wellingborough Carnival Court selection
1.30pm-5.30pm - Dr Busker
6pm-8pm - The Audio Pirates

Sunday 9 May
1.30pm-4.30pm - Wellingborough Music and Arts Centre Concert Big Band
4.30pm - closing ceremony and awards

Wellingborough Museum (next door to The Castle):
An exhibition of photographs and memorabilia of the Waendel Walks over the past 30 years and traditional amusements for you and your family to enjoy.    

All Saint's Church, Midland Road:
Friday 7 and Saturday 8 May - Mini Beer Festival organised by
Wellingborough Chamber of Commerce.  Over 30 real ales and ciders, wines and soft drinks. Entrance fee £3.50 to include a souvenir 1pt glass and programme. Open Friday 7 May from 4.30pm to midnight and Saturday 8 May from 11am to midnight.
