Wellingborough Carnival Youth Troupe

Published Thursday 3rd June 10

A fantastic opportunity for young people aged 13 to 19 years to make amazing and wacky costumes for Wellingborough's Carnival Parade on Saturday, 3rd July 2010.

Festive Road artists will be on hand to help design and create the troupe costumes inspired by the Carnival theme of 'The World in Colour'.  The troupe will work together to come up with an overall design then create individual costumes and structures for everyone taking part.

Workshops will be every Tuesday and Thursday evening at 7.00pm to 8.30pm, starting on the 8th June up until the Carnival, and will take place at Unit 6, Bradfield Road , Finedon Road Industrial Estate, Wellingborough.  Transportation can be provided if needed to get to the unit.

Supported by the Borough Council of Wellingborough, workshops are free of charge thanks to funding from Money for Youth and Wellingborough's Youth Council.
