Residents are invited to share their views on the Borough Council of Wellingborough’s town centre vision, which sets out the ambitions to enhance the area.

People across Wellingborough can view the plans on the website. The vision for the town centre will include the continuous development of the town centre strategy, continued investment to improve the town centre and use of the market. To achieve this, the council will work with key partners and businesses to continue to make Wellingborough a place to be proud of.

Leader of the Borough Council of Wellingborough, Cllr Martin Griffiths, said: “The town centre vision sets out our plans to enhance and improve our town centre as shopping habits continue to change.

“I would encourage everyone to review the plans and email our projects team with their views to help shape the future of our town centre as we continue to grow and prosper.”

The public consultation will run from Monday 2 March – Sunday 19 April. The plans are available to view online. You can email the projects team with your views at: projects@wellingborough.gov.uk
