Wellingborough Waterside Concept Plan - Take the survey

Published Wednesday, 29 January 2020

Nene Valley Catchment Partnership wants your feedback on a new concept plan by the Wellingborough Waterside Working Group.

The Nene Valley Catchment Partnership is a network of Authorities, Agencies, Community Organisations and Individuals that work to improve the River Nene and it's tributaries. The Catchment Partnership is hosted by the River Nene Regional Park. One of the working groups of the Partnership has a focus on the Wellingborough Waterside and this group includes representatives from local business and tourism operators as well as recreation interests and the Council.

The work of this group has resulted in a concept plan for the Wellingborough Waterside / Embankment that seeks to improve access to and engagement with the area and to recognise the importance of this space as a key feature of the town of Wellingborough and it's connections to other nearby attractions and towns.

Take the short survey here.

If you'd like to come and hear more about our plans, and have your say in person, members of the Wellingborough Waterside Working Group will be attending the Swansgate Shopping Centre, Wellingborough from 19 - 21 February to consult with the public, and find out what's most important to residents, businesses and communities in the catchment.
