Colleagues and Councillors at Wellingborough Council commemorate 100 years of World War One

Join representative from the Council for a number of events to commemorate 100 years since World War One.

The Borough Council of Wellingborough World War One Working Group, which is made up of staff and Councillors, have organised a string of events in 2018 to commemorate 100 years since the end of World War One.

The commemorative celebrations began on Saturday 16 June at St Mary’s Church in Little Harrowden, where the local community joined representatives from the Council for a special memorial weekend.

 There will be a number of events over the next few months, with the final events taking place on remembrance Sunday, 11 November, where three remembrance services will be held at a number of venues across the borough.
