People are being invited to have their say on two consultations about the proposed neighbourhood plan for Earls Barton.
Work has started on a new crematorium in Wellingborough. Some preparatory works have already taken place, with the first construction on the 11 acre site near Great Doddington due to begin in late spring.
Wellingborough Council’s planning committee tonight granted outline permission for a new employment park a couple of miles west of the town centre. The £115 million Appleby Lodge project, which will be just off Sywell Road, could create up to 2,500 jobs in the borough, ranging from warehouse staff, IT positions, customer services staff and office managers.
