Business and Environment News

Business and Environment News is an occasional newsletter to promote resource efficiency to businesses within the Borough.

Set up in 2003, BEN aims to spread news and examples of best practice from local business and support agencies within the Borough, County and Region. Recognition of the influence BEN has had came in 2004 when BEN received a prestigious Silver National Green Apple Environmental Award for Council Partnerships.

BEN's circulation soared to over 600 businesses in the Borough and in a move to conserve resources and cut costs, from 2007 BEN has been based predominantly on the internet. One copy per year will be sent out on paper to remind businesses where to look for us.

On average, each copy of BEN is downloaded 12,800 times annually, indicating a circulation well above that achievable by previous methods!
