Garden waste can be placed in your brown bin for collection. Brown bins are emptied once every two weeks. Garden waste can also be composted at home or taken to the Household Waste Recycling Centres for disposal.
Gas cylinders are refillable and re-usable. Please contact the supplier or manufacturer for advice on recycling.
Glass bottles and jars can be recycled in your green bin. They can also be taken to the bring banks or the Household Waste Recycling Centres for recycling.
Green bins are provided for residents to recycle their paper, card, glass bottles and jars, cans, tins, and plastics. The green bins are collected once every two weeks.
Greetings cards can be reused as gift tags, or you can recycle them in your green bin along with other paper and card.
