A 10 year Vision Strategy was published by the Borough Council in 2010 to outline and focus regeneration and growth projects for Wellingborough.
Summary
The '2020 Vision' is a strategy for regeneration and growth in Wellingborough which was developed to promote the ambition of the council up to and beyond the year 2020. Fundamental improvements that residents would like to see including better employment prospects, improved shopping and leisure facilities, better schools and qualifications, and better housing cannot be achieved without a programme of regeneration and development. The council believes that no time should be wasted in bringing forward a co-ordinated programme to bring about comprehensive and positive change.
