Growth Team

Wellingborough is faced with the challenge of competing with other growth towns for business, jobs, shoppers, and making the town an attractive place for people to live and work.

Through a variety of funding sources the council is working hard to ensure the delivery of the Town Centre regeneration scheme, to realise its objectives by 2020.

The Growth and Development Team are responsible for the co-ordination, management and sourcing and securing of funding for these regeneration projects.  The proposed schemes must be well designed and programmed to ensure successful delivery, which relies on the combined skills of all the Environment and Planning teams.
