Great Harrowden

On Wellingborough's north side lies Great Harrowden, home to around 70 inhabitants.

All Saints' Church is a building of several periods with traces of Norman work found in the lower parts of the tower with the pinnacles and battlements dating from the 14th century.

Harrowden Hall, now the clubhouse of the Wellingborough Golf Club, has a long history as the seat of the Harrowden and Vaux families.  The Hall has formal gardens surrounded by brick walls and fine iron gates.  The original park has now been laid out as an 18 hole golf course, one of the foremost courses in the area.

Grendon

This small, attractive village lies five miles south west of Wellingborough.

St Mary's Church dominates the village from the top of the hill and the village with its stone-built cottages - some of which are thatched - surrounds it.

Much of the village is designated as a Conservation Area.
