Methods of payment

The following methods of payment may be used- please quote your account number with each payment made:

• Telephone our automated payment line on 0845 331 3001 and use your debit or credit card.
   
• Pay it online with our internet payment facility using your debit or credit card.
  
• By Direct Debit.
  You have a choice of four different dates to pay. Complete the Direct Debit Instruction (Council Tax and Business Rates) and return to Council Offices, Tithe Barn Road, Wellingborough, NN8 1 BN. (Please note where instructions are received after the start of the financial year, outstanding instalments will be added to your first payment.)
  

•  By Standing Order.
  Arrangements can be made direct with your Bank or Building Society. A form is also available from the Council Offices for your use.

• The Council's bank account details are as follows:

• By Post.
  Send a cheque, made payable to the Borough Council of Wellingborough, to Council Offices, Tithe Barn Road, Wellingborough, NN8 1BN. Please write your account number (as shown on the front of the Demand Notice) and address on the back of the cheque. Please state if you require a receipt. Please allow 5 working days for your account to be credited. DO NOT SEND CASH THROUGH THE POST.
  
• Make a payment at a Post Office or PayPoint outlet. You will need to take your bill, with a bar code on it, with you.
