If your products or services are related to construction, you might want to consider registering with Constructionline. The Department for Business, Enterprise and Regulatory Reform established Constructionline, with the aim of making it easier and simpler for construction contractors and consultants to do business with the public sector. The idea is that you can pre-qualify for contract opportunities and it is used by 1700 buyers to invite suppliers to tender. There is a charge to register with Constructionline; this varies according to your annual turnover.
