Anglian Water is working hard to still provide essential services, keeping taps flowing, toilets flushing and drains draining, during these difficult times. Some residents, including those people who are self-isolating due to Coronavirus can register for free, additional practical support from Anglian Water's Priority Services. Some of the ways being on the Priority Services Register could help include help with reading the water meter, a knock and wait service where staff will wait longer for the door to be answered when visiting, and a scheme to protect people from bogus callers and scams. To find out more about Priority Services and to sign up call Anglian Water on: 0800 919 155. Find out more.
Salvation Army Clothing Banks
The Salvation Army Clothing Banks will be temporarily closed until further notice.
In these uncertain times, having the companionship of an animal can be a great comfort, however we must also think of their health and welfare.
The government has produced guidance for people with animals, both pets and livestock, including what is permissible under the current restrictions.
The RSPCA also has a great deal of information regarding caring for your pets at this time, including how to walk someone else’s dog, and an emergency pet care form in case you need to be taken into hospital for any reason.
