Textile Collection

Recycling textiles to help the Air Ambulance

Textiles are now collected once every two months in a separate bag collection. Please note that textiles are no longer accepted in your green recycling bin.

The collection service is in partnership with DB Collections and Warwickshire and Northamptonshire Air Ambulance (WNAA). Our collection agents will donate £105 to the WNAA for every tonne of textiles they collect.

DB Collections will deliver a bag to you once every two months. The collection day will be printed on the bag. Please use the collection to recycle the following materials...

  • Good quality adults and children's clean clothes
  • Linen
  • Curtains
  • As new underwear
  • Socks and tights
  • Shoes (please keep pairs together)
  • Handbags
  • Belts
  • Soft toys

Please recycle and support the WNAA

So far, since the scheme started in June 2009 Wellingborough residents have helped to raise a grand total of £30,070.23
