The theme for 2013 is 'The Olympics - Past and Present'

The parade starts from Broad Green at 1pm on Saturday, 6th July 2013. It will travel the following route around the town to Croyland Park:

Broad Green, High Street, Church Street, Market Street, Midland Road, Castle Way, Sheep Street, Silver Street, Oxford Street, Northampton Road, Gillitts Road and finishing at the Henshaw Road entrance to Croyland Park at approx. 2:30pm.

Further information

  • Broad Green at the top of High Street and access to Jackson's Lane Car Park will be closed to all traffic except buses from 9am
  • Parade vehicles are to arrive and park in High Street facing downwards towards Church Street
  • Participants in the parade should report to the registration desk where they will be given a number and information pack
  • Toilets and an ice-cream van will be at Broad Green. Sorry no changing facilities
  • A suitable number of responsible adults must accompany children on the parade route
  • The riding on the bonnet or hanging from vehicles is strictly prohibited and anyone found doing this will be removed from the parade immediately
  • Drivers of vehicles are not permitted to carry a collecting bucket
  • All monies collected on the parade route remains the property of Wellingborough Carnival
  • The Parade Manager's decision is final
