Housing Options Team

If you are homeless or threatened with homelessness, the council have a legal duty to assist you. We can help you make an application and advise you of the Council's duties and your rights.

The Council's Housing Options Team are available on a pre-booked appointment basis to discuss individuals housing needs and advise our clients on housing related issues.

Whether you wish to apply on the Council's general waiting list or you need more in depth advice in connection with private rented issues or mortgage arrears or debt we will try and help you resolve such matters.

It is important that you book your Housing Options appointment as soon as you are aware of any problems relating to your current housing situation. This will allow the Housing Options Team to offer as much advice as possibly and try and resolve your issues and prevent the risk of your household becoming homeless.
