Member Code of Conduct and Complaints Process
Standards Board for England
The Standards Board for England is responsible for overseeing the Code of Conduct that applies to all Borough and Parish Councillors.
If you have reason to believe a Councillor has breached the Code of Conduct, then you can raise the matter through the Council's Assessment sub-Committee, which reports to the Standards Committee.
You may wish to discuss any concerns in the first instance with the Monitoring Officer on 01933 231510. A local complaints form is available below.
Council complaints procedure and complaint form
The Ombudsman normally requires that the Council has had the chance to consider your complaint before he will consider it. This link is to the Council complaints procedure and complaint form.
