Nature Conservation Strategy
Preparation, monitoring and review of the Nature Conservation Strategy.
This aims to:
- protect the existing wildlife in the Borough;
- provide greater opportunities for future habitat enhancement and creation;
- ensure that the needs of wildlife are considered in all aspects of Council policy making; and
- provide greater public access to areas of wildlife interest and promote greater environmental awareness.
