How to make a planning application
Before you submit a planning application, it is always best to talk to us first about the work you want to carry out. We can advise you about:
-
The information you will need to submit to ensure that your planning application is valid. The supporting information required, the Local Planning Requirements (PAR) can be viewed here.
-
Which form you need - the main application forms and information packs are available to download here.
-
How much you will have to pay for your application to be dealt with - the fees from 26th February 2010 can be viewed here.
-
For all applications we require an Ordnance Survey (or equivalent) site location plan at a scale of 1:1250. Please contact Carol Wilson on 01933 231902 for a pack of 6 x A4 plans, at a cost of £29.30, or alternatively the link below will allow you to purchase O.S. site location plans on line at: http://www.wbdc.planningapplicationmaps.co.uk/.
-
Submit a planning application online (external link). To make an online planning application go to the Planning Portal website and fill in the online form.
-
The Application Process Flowchart should help you see the various stages involved in the determination of planning applications.
