Children & Young People Delivery Group

The Children & Young People Delivery Group acts as a local Children & Young People Board giving strategic direction and communicating between all agencies and groups involved.

The group are interested in the achievement and wellbeing of all young people in the Borough.  Partners collectively have an input into the main areas of children's lives through education, home and family life and community living (eg leisure activities and staying safe).
There is a strong link to the Wellingborough Education Partnership and progress on school achievements are reported to this group.  This group is also responsible for the reporting of the youth participation targets.

It is expected that a sub-group will be set up to oversee local commissioning when required.

The Chair of the Children & Youth People Delivery Group is William Thallon.
