Health and Wellbeing

As Health and Wellbeing remains a priority for Wellingborough, Wellingborough Council is currently working in partnership with key partners and delivery organisations to help and make a difference to our Community.

The Wellingborough Health and Wellbeing Forum is the local element of the Northamptonshire Health and Wellbeing Board.

The Wellingborough Health and Wellbeing Forum's summary of local priorities 2015 -2016 can be found here.

The Wellingborough Health Profile 2015 includes four local priorities which are areas to improve the health and wellbeing of everybody in Wellingborough. The four priorities are:

  • Deprivation; a national view.
  • Life expectancy; inequalities in this local authority.
  • Health inequalities; changes over time.
  • Health inequalities; ethnicity.

This profile gives a picture of people's health in Wellingborough and is designed to help local government and health services understand their community's needs, so that they can work together to improve people's health and reduce health inequalities.
