Why come to a Day Centre?

People attend the Day Centre for a variety of reasons. They may be in need of company, or they may attend in order to give their carers a much needed break. For whatever reasons they choose to attend, a warm welcome awaits them.

 

What can you expect?

To be treated as an individual. Glamis Hall is a busy Day Centre offering many and varied activities. You choose to join in the activities you enjoy or you may choose just to chat to friends over a cup of tea or coffee.

 

What are these activities?

Glamis Hall Day Centre offers Facial massage, Manicures, Flower Arranging, Darts, Skittles, Dominoes, Beetle Drives, Bingo, Armchair Exercises, Quizzes, Painting, Cards, Coach Outings.

What about lunch?

The Day Centre offers a three course meal that is cooked on the premises. Individual dietary needs are catered for e.g Diabetic, low fat, soft diet.

 

What about transport?

Transport may be available to people who either cannot walk to the centre or have no other means of transport. (Please telephone for further information).

 

What about bathing facilities?

The Day Centre has a step in Parker bath, and our trained Care Assistants will offer the individual help you require.
