Shop Local encourages people to support local shops and businesses. As well as boosting the local economy at this challenging time, shopping local can also have a positive impact on the environment.

A 'Shop Local Month' ran in Wellingborough town centre and in Finedon and Earls Barton during November/December 2009. This involved a prize draw with cash prizes. Many of the retailers taking part also offered discounts.
