Commercial waste - clinical waste disposal: Outline
The Council will collect clinical waste free of charge from domestic properties. Collections are weekly and the Council will provide residents with yellow sacks for this waste. To arrange a clinical waste collection, please contact Customer Service.
If you are a business and you generate clinical waste you may need to register your premises with the Environment Agency. You will also be asked by the person removing your waste to complete a Duty of Care - Controlled Waste Transfer Note and declare the type of waste you are tranferring.
The Council may be able to offer a service to commercial customers but this would depend on the amount of material generated and frequency of collection.
