Conservation and urban design planning - tree management: Outline
Wellingborough Norse is responsible for the maintenance of trees on public land in the core areas of Wellingborough and Finedon. Within these areas, programmed tree work is carried out on trees situated: on the highway; in parks, open spaces and cemeteries; on industrial estates; and in closed churchyards. To report an issue with a tree in the core area, please use the online form or contact Customer Service.
Trees located on the highway outside the core area of Wellingborough and Finedon are maintained by Northamptonshire County Council. If you wish to report a tree on private land which overhangs, is dangerous, or causes an obstruction to the highway, you will need to contact Street Doctor.
Trees on former Council housing land are the responsibility of Wellingborough Homes.
Trees in village parks, open spaces and cemeteries are maintained by the Parish Council.
