The Embankment
Splash park now open and not affected by hosepipe ban
The free splash park is now open on weekends and bank holidays. The park draws water from a natural spring, which is then fed back into the river, so it can be enjoyed throughout the hosepipe ban.
Summer playschemes
Funding available for local groups and organisations
Grants of up to £440 are available for charities, voluntary organisations and schools to help develop holiday projects for school-aged children. Applications must be received by Monday 28 May.
